Trimming services available on an extremely limited basis – with priority given to rehabilitation horses, and those with referral from veterinarian or other equine professional. As an immunocompromised person, who also has extremely vulnerable family members, strict Covid protocols are to be maintained at all times.

Client Expectations it is the responsibility of the owner to provide a safe working environment, to be present for appointments, to pay in full on the day, and to ensure the horse is capable of standing for the farrier. Horses will also be caught and ready by the designated appointment time, maintained on an appropriate trimming schedule for their needs, and owners provide a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellation and rescheduling.

If a horse will not stand for the farrier, training is needed.
If a horse can not stand for the farrier, veterinary assessment is needed.

It is not acceptable to expect the farrier/trimmer to include training within their hoofcare fee. In some cases, I may be willing to provide training for problem horses but these will be charged at an hourly training rate and will need to be discussed and confirmed prior to the appointment.
